FHSD Announces Dr. Mike Dominguez as the New Superintendent
Francis Howell School District Board of Education approved Dr. Mike Dominguez as the District’s next superintendent. His contract will officially begin July 1, 2025, as current Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Roumpos transitions to a new role with Kirkwood School District.

Last Day of School Update
The last day of school for grades K-11 is now Tuesday, June 3 and will be an Early Release Day for all students.
Niche names FHSD best district in St. Charles County
Francis Howell School District is ranked #1 in St. Charles County and 10th in Missouri by Niche's 2025 Best Districts list, placing in the top 3% with an A rating.

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm we welcome you back for the 2024-2025 school year. I hope you are all wrapping up a fantastic summer. The day has finally come when we will start the next chapter of the FHN story. Our custodial, maintenance, and support staff have been working all summer long to put the final touches on our beautiful new facility.

Nearly 60 high school students from three Francis Howell high schools participated in the Missouri Youth and Government (MOYAG) Convention in Jefferson City.

Principal Jeffrey Fletcher of Francis Howell North High School started a program. FHN students now visit three elementary schools to introduce younger students to the extracurricular activities awaiting them in high school.
