Jon Schultz - Principal

This is Jon’s 25th year in education and his first year as principal at Francis Howell North. He previously served for 4 years as the Associate Principal at Francis Howell High School. Additionally, he has been an administrator at Francis Howell North and Marquette High School. He taught Math, PE, and ACT Prep at Berkeley High School and in Decatur, Ill. Jon has coached wrestling and football for several years and truly believes that all students will benefit from evolvement in clubs, activities, and sports at FHN. His goals for students include ensuring all students are prepared for life after high school by ensuring a school community focus on Attendance, Attitude, and Achievement.

Jon is a FHSD resident and believes our district provides a great value for our community and is proud of his 2 sons that have attended the district. Jon's wife Jana is also a principal in the Francis Howell School District.

Dr. Shelly Parks - Associate Principal

Dr. Shelly Parks is serving as an assistant principal at FHN. Prior to this role, Dr. Parks taught English at FHN for 21 years, served as a department chair, sponsored Student Council, and coached basketball. When Dr. Parks is not at school, she enjoys the outdoors and traveling with her husband and their four children.

Dr. Monica Perry - Assistant Principal

Dr. Monica Perry comes to FHN with 17 years of experience in the educational field.  Prior to joining the team, she served four years as an Assistant Principal at Riverview Gardens High School and in vital leadership positions during her tenure with St. Louis Public Schools as Science Department Chair/Teacher, District Professional Development representative, and Assistant Principal at Gateway MST Middle School.

As an educator, she is deeply passionate about challenging students to be the best versions of themselves through academic prowess and student voice to acquire the quality of education they deserve, not simply accept the mediocracy that is sometimes presented to them. The notable degrees/certificates received by Dr. Perry include:

  • B.S. Biology – Jackson State University
  • M.S. Biology – Jackson State University
  • M.A. Education Administration – Lindenwood University
  • Ed.D. Educational Leadership – Maryville University
  • Certificate in School Management and Leadership – Harvard University

In her spare time, Dr. Perry runs Pick Carpet Foundation, a non-profit organization established to provide scholarships to youth of families impacted by breast cancer so they may live out their dream of post-secondary education. She also enjoys reading, listening to live music, and watching horror films just to name a few.

Stacey Bevill - Assistant Principal

Mrs. Stacey Bevill is serving as an Assistant Principal at FHN. Mrs. Bevill has 19 years of experience in education. Prior to this role, she joined the FHN math department in 2020, served as Math Department Chair beginning in 2023 and coached girls soccer for the past two years. Before coming to FHN, Mrs. Bevill taught mathematics at Eureka High School where she also coached soccer, softball, cheerleading and lacrosse.

When Mrs. Bevill is not at school, she enjoys gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her family. Mrs. Bevill is proud to have her family be a part of the Francis Howell School District community. Her children attend Becky-David Elementary, Barnwell Middle School, and Francis Howell North and her husband is also a member of the FHN staff.

Brett Bevill - Assistant Principal

Mr. Bevill is serving as an Assistant Principal at FHN.  Prior to this role he was a Dean of Students at FHN for one year in 2023.  Mr. Bevill has taught Health, Physical Education, Math, Programming, and Drivers Education before he becoming a Principal.  He has coached Football, Esports, Weight Lifting and Jr. Knights programs for many years in the community.  Mr. Bevill’s wife Stacey Bevill works at Francis Howell North as well and they have 3 children that attend Francis Howell School District Schools.  Mr. Bevill is also an FHN alumni of the class of 2002.

Dusty Weiskopf - Activities Director

Mr. Dusty Weiskopf will be serving in his second year as the Activities Director at FHN. Dusty has been in education for the past 15 years. During those years, he has taught physical education and health and has been a head basketball coach both on the boys and girls side and has coached multiple other sports. Before that, he served 4 years in the United States Air Force. His wife, Mandee is an administrator at a neighboring school district and they have 3 children 11, 12, and 16.

Chris Purcell - Dean & Assistant Activities Director

Mr. Purcell enters his first year at FHN, serving as Dean of Students/Assistant Activities Director. He joins us with 14 years of classroom experience in both private and public schools. While in the classroom, he taught mathematics and some engineering. 

He has 15 years of experience coaching wrestling. Some of his coaching career highlights include multiple state championship teams, building a new program and fostering cultures of inclusion, school pride and community engagement. 

While not at school, Mr. Purcell enjoys being active and spending time with his wife and 3 kids (who are all future Knights!).
