Jon Schultz - Principal

This is Jon’s twenty-fifth year in education and his first year as principal at FHN. He has served 4 years served as the Associate Principal at FH High School. Additionally, he has been an administrator at Francis Howell North and Marquette High School. He taught Math, PE, and ACT Prep at Berkeley High School and in Decatur, IL. Jon has coached wrestling and football for several years and truly believes that all students will benefit from evolvement in clubs, activities, and sports at FHN. His goals for students include ensuring all students are prepared for life after high school by ensuring a school community focus on Attendance, Attitude, and Achievement.

Jon is a FHSD resident and believes our district provides a great value for our community and is proud of his 2 sons that have attended the district. Jon's wife Jana is also a principal in the Francis Howell School District.

Dr. Erin Steep - Associate Principal

This is Erin’s fourth year as the Associate Principal at FHN.  Prior to stepping into this role, she served as an Assistant Principal for seven years and the Dean of Students for one year.  Before becoming an administrator, Erin was a Band Director at Marquette High School.  She is an FHSD Alum and her 2 sons also attend school in the district.  Her husband is a Band Director in the Parkway School District.

Dr. Shelly Parks - Assistant Principal

Dr. Shelly Parks is serving as an assistant principal at FHN. Prior to this role, Ms. Parks taught English at FHN for 21 years, served as a department chair, sponsored Student Council, and coached basketball. When Ms. Parks is not at school, she enjoys the outdoors and traveling with her husband and their four children.

Dr. Monica Perry - Assistant Principal

Dr. Monica Perry comes to FHN with 17 years of experience in the educational field.  Prior to joining the team, she served four years as an Assistant Principal at Riverview Gardens High School and in vital leadership positions during her tenure with St. Louis Public Schools as Science Department Chair/Teacher, District Professional Development representative, and Assistant Principal at Gateway MST Middle School.

As an educator, she is deeply passionate about challenging students to be the best versions of themselves through academic prowess and student voice to acquire the quality of education they deserve, not simply accept the mediocracy that is sometimes presented to them. The notable degrees/certificates received by Dr. Perry include:

In her spare time, Dr. Perry runs Pick Carpet Foundation, a non-profit organization established to provide scholarships to youth of families impacted by breast cancer so they may live out their dream of post-secondary education. She also enjoys reading, listening to live music, and watching horror films just to name a few.

Brett Bevill - Assistant Principal

Mr. Bevill is in his second year at FHN as Assistant Principal.  Prior to this role, he was a Dean of Students at FHN.  Mr. Bevill has taught Health/PE, Math, Programming, and Drivers Ed teacher.  He has coached Football, Esports, Weights and Jr. Knights programs for many years in the community.  Mr. Bevill’s wife Stacey Bevill is a Math teacher at Francis Howell North and they have 3 children.  Mr. Bevill is an FHN alumni of the class of 2002.

Dusty Weiskopf - Activities Director

Mr. Dusty Weiskopf will be serving in his first year as the Activities Director at FHN. Dusty has been in education for the past 14 years. During those years he has taught physical education and health and has been a head basketball coach both on the boys and girls side and has coached multiple other sports. Before that, he served 4 years in the United States Air Force. His wife, Mandee is an administrator at a neighboring school district and they have 3 children 11, 12, and 16.

Matthew Havermale- Dean & Assistant Activities Director

Mr. Matt Havermale will be serving in his first year as the Dean of Students and Assistant Activities Director. Matt has been in education for the past 11 years, the past 3 at FHN. During that time, he has taught a variety of topics in the social studies department. He has coached several sports including, soccer, golf, and basketball. Matt has been married to his wife, Lauren, for 9 years, who is an Athletic Trainer for Mercy Hospital. They have two sons, Hudson (7) and Hayden (4).
